Kelly Michelle Stables, born in St. Louis Missouri was a performer at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her with a degree with a laude for Theatre and Communication. Following her move from Missouri to Los Angeles, she became involved with theater arts and started acting in and choreographing for over two dozen musicals and plays like The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 titles roles in LA's Award-winning Storybook Theatre. In addition to continuing her studies in the art of improvisation with The Groundlings and becoming a Company member of Theatre West Kelly also started finding roles on TV and film. Her voice and petite stature have allowed Kelly to play a variety of diverse roles. Her most well-known role is her performance alongside Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara in The Ring 2 but is popularly known for her role as the bright and bubbly receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly worked as a TV Land series regular from 2011-2015, playing a paralegal in the daytime, and as the nightclub host. Kelly was also a regular as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the worried suburban mom on the CW show No Tomorrow. She sang soprano in many cartoons, including Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Recent appearances include her as the dim yet lovable Cloud 9 employees on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. Her private life is one that's quite quiet having two kids under the age of five. She loves to sew as well as write, and she is an active participant at various school events.
