Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko fights as an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter in the flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko who was a former UFC Flyweight titleholder, and UFC other fighter, is her older sister. Antonina Shevchenko started her professional career as an Muay Thai boxer. Her debut was in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Antonina continued her career by getting bronze and silver medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, a Gold medal in 2011, and the 2016 IFMA amateur Muay thai world champion. Antonia started her professional career in with her debut in 2003. She won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships in 2012 and The Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships 2016 and both the WMC World Championships as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's final fight took place at the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The winner was a an unanimous vote. Antonina shevchenko recorded her first professional MMA fight in 2002 against Anara bayanova at the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan. She won via second-round TKO after which she won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to get a 3-0 record. Shevchenko was forced to take a break in order to focus on boxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui in Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko had the chance to beat Anissa with a unanimous verdict and defeated Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. She left in 2018 the competition and began competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina used superior striking in order to TKO Nievera by knees to her body during the fight. Antonina took the UFC invitation following her win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modeafferi by a unanimous decision. But, she fell in her second fight because of the split decision. Antonina recovered from her defeat and beat Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke, and was awarded the fight of the night bonus in the fight. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn along with Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski, but beat Ariane. Antonina recently lost by TKO in the second round to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
